So how do you train to become a triple threat performer? Here are a few tips.

Start young

Some people thank their parents for signing them up to summer acting, singing or dancing classes. Although you can never be too old to chase a dream and do what you’re passionate about, starting young has its benefits. For one, you have more time to practice and become better, plus you’ll get more experience. So if you can, start while you’re still energetic and young.

Work on your voice

Almost anyone can sing. You just have to learn how to control your voice and know which vocal ranges work for you. Get a coach or a voice teacher and have them listen to you sing. They can point out what you’re doing right and wrong, your range and help you sound better as a singer.

Learn different types of dances

Tap dancing is the most common dance style triple threat performers master. But if you know how to dance hip-hop, salsa, freestyle, and other dance styles, you can have an edge over others. Knowing different dancing styles help you cope with remakes, such as if they want to make a hip hop version of a classic play. It just makes you more flexible when it comes to moving,

Get your acting on

Probably the most important talent any triple threat performer needs to master is acting. You can always just act out that you know how to dance and sing, but you can never fake good acting. As much as possible, invest more on your acting skills then the other two talents, but don’t neglect them. Attend acting classes and join dramas and recitals to gain experience.

Balance everything

Being a triple threat performer not only means your good in all forms of entertainment, it’s also important that you balance all three of these to become better. Sing, dance and act to make the crowd want more of you and the talent agents in New York City to sign you for a job.
